Does Ceramic Coating Make my paint scratch proof?No! 100% an exaggeration! However Ceramic is more resistant.

Is Ceramic Coating Permanent?No. Depending on the Ceramic Coating applied you can expect as little as 1 year to as much as 10+. I specifically offer 1, 3, 5, or 10+ year Ceramic Coating options. How ever I also am willing to work with the customer if they prefer another brand Ceramic Coating as well.

After getting a Ceramic Coating do I need to maintain it?Yes! I offer maintenance packages as well as guarantee my work as long as maintained by Wittmann Detailing. The customer also has the option to decline the guarantee and I will educate them on the proper way to wash and maintain the Ceramic Coating.

Does Paint Correction have to be done before Ceramic Coating Installation?Technically, no. Paint Correction is not needed to prepare the surface of the vehicle for ceramic coatings. Many may regard to paint correction as a customers personal preference. Especially when installing a 1-2 year coating seeing as that is a very short time of coverage. I personally recommend to my customers to consider at least a Single-Stage Paint Correction service be performed. A Single-Stage Paint Correction service removes most swirling and marring, as well as increases the gloss of the paint overall and creates a more appealing look.

Is it worth having Paint Correction completed prior to having Ceramic Coatings installed?YES! The benefits of even a basic Single-Stage Paint Correction is worth the cost. Removing swirls, marring, and other defects makes the paint clearer, pure, and more glossy. The look of your paint is determined from the condition of the paint. Coatings complement the quality of the paint. A Single-Stage Correction is non-invasive to the clear coat.

Can Ceramic Coatings be applied during a mobile detail?There are many variables when it comes to Ceramic Coating. Ceramic Coating outside can be risky even in the best conditions. Wittmann Detailing prefers to use our shop. We have a climate controlled location out of the elements where we can safely and professionally apply Ceramic Coatings effectively.
